Last year, Russell Brand came onto the American scene in a “right in your face” kind of way when he hosted MTV’s Video Musica Awards (VMAs). I watched him last year. I thought he was kind of cute but he went over the top a few times. The VMAs attract kids as viewers and I would not have wanted my kids to hear some of what he said.
Well, he’s back! MTV has invited him back again for the live event this year. You can catch him on September 13, 2009 when he’ll be hosting the VMAs live from New York. Taylor Swift will be performing. The rest is up in the air at this point.
