In case you’ve missed the latest and greatest in the world of celebrities, here goes:

• Whitney Houston performed on Good Morning America.  MTV is calling it fiery, fierce, and somewhat flaky. 
• Charles Gibson is retiring as Anchor for World News.  No big surprise is that Diane Sawyer will be replacing him in the seat. 
• As results from testing start to roll in, DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) was laid to rest today in a private funeral service.  Tomorrow night, there will be a memorial service at the Hollywood Palladium. 
• Did you hear that Oprah Winfrey thinks Jay-Z smells good?  I’m not sure why that was front page news at E! Online but it was.
