According to Perez hilton Mariah Carey threw a party for 35 underprivilaged kids in Aspen while she is spending the holidays over there . Mariah rented out the Aspen Recreation Center on Monday. The kids were able to use the climbing wall and got to use the recreation pool and got entertained by magicians and jugglers and got to have a great time.

Mariah and her husband came in later riding on a reindeer led sleigh along with  Santa Claus. They took pictures with the kids which the kids will get as keepsakes. According to Aspen locals Mariah has been throwing these kind of parties for the kids for 10 years now but didnt publicise it.

 The only reason why it was known this year was because the Aspen recreation center is a public place and people were wondering why it was closed. Mariah also bought holiday themed movies for the kids to watch on their ride back to denver.

I love this kind of selfless gift giving. It warms my heart to know that celebrities use there stardom to do nice things for others.
