Richie said Monday night during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman that the couple are engaged to be married, a source told  PEOPLE. They’ve been together for more than three years and have two children together so if the did decide to get married I think it will be wonderful. 

After the show, Richie headed to the New York restaurant Abe & Arthurs – without her fiancé – for dinner. “She was glowing,” says a source. “She was telling her table how happy she was.”  To me if  people.com are reporting it then  I think that these two are heading to the chapel and they are going to  get married. I really do hope  that they get married because I think Nicole and Joel are one of the cutest Hollywood couple   out there right now.

Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, began dating in December 2006 and their daughter Harlow is 2 and their son Sparrow is 5 months.

Carrie Underwood got engaged to Mike Fisher on Sunday and The player for  the  Ottowa Senators spoke about  it on monday according to the Toronto Sun 

 Many of us hadnt heard much  of their relationship because they really tried to keep it out of the spotlight. I think that is the key for  relationships to last in hollywood. With many people starting rumors its hard for these celebs to have a decent relationship or courtship.

It’s all about fashion and beauty with the celebs but where is it that they go to get made up ? I have often wondered where celebs go to get their hair and makeup done. Do you think some of the celebs are getting their nail care in Hungtinton Beach ? Do you think they all go to Beverly Hills ? I often wonder where it is that they get themselves made up at. I know some celebs have their own personal make up artists.

I do see the paparazzi catching some celebs coming out of different salons so I know that not all of them have people that come to their house and make them up. I would love to go and check out these places that fix up the stars and get all glamed up. Even if it is just for a day I would love to be  made up and have my hair styled like a celebrity. I love when Celebrities use they star status to give and help out. Angelina Jolie is no stranger to giving and she makes me proud. I recently read a story online that Alyssa Milano is giving up her 37 th birthday and instead of getting presents from friends and family she is having them donate to Benefit charity water, an organization dedicated to funding clean water. Alyssa has asked friends, fans and twitter followers to not send her gifts but instead donate to the charity.

Selfless giving like this makes me feel warm inside and I am glad that some celebrities use their star status to help others who are in need.  If you are interested in reading more about it you should check out the article on people.com . Nic Cage has two homes in New Orleans he hasn’t made payments on according to TMZ.  The bank has foreclosed on the homes.  Wow…and I didn’t think celebrities understood what the rest of us were going through trying to hang onto our homes.  I guess when he has several to choose from, maybe losing two isn’t a big deal when most of us struggle to hang onto the only one we have. 

Of course, his draw at the movies isn’t what it used to be so maybe he’s having financial problems too.  He used to be a favorite of mine years ago and then the whole Lisa Marie thing happened and then it all just got weird.
