People.com tells us Former teen star Corey Haim was found dead Wednesday morning, Los Angeles police confirmed. He was 38.

“Mr. Haim was declared dead at 2:15 a.m. at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center [in Burbank, Calif.],” Lt. Cheryl MacWillie of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office told PEOPLE of the Lost Boys star. “He was transported to the hosptial where he was prounced dead.”

L.A. County Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter says the official cause of death for the actor, who had a long history of substance-abuse problems, is inconclusive pending an autopsy and toxicology tests. Winter said the LAPD believes Haim may have died from a possible accidental overdose.

An autopsy will likely be performed Thursday, according to MacWillie. Haim was found unresponsive at his mother’s Burbank-area apartment.

Police Sgt. Michael Kammert said there was no evidence of foul play.

Police Sgt. William Mann told the Associated Press that the actor suffered with flu-like symptoms before his death and had obtained over-the-counter and prescription medications. “He could have succumbed to whatever [illness] he had, or it could have been drugs. Who knows?” said Mann. “He has had a drug problem in the past.”

Haim shot to fame in the ’80s after starring in several teen films, including The Lost Boys, Lucas and License to Drive. Most notably, he collaborated numerous times with Corey Feldman, and the pair were dubbed “The Two Coreys.” They starred in an A&E reality show with that name from 2007 to 2008. Oh my goodness  I am without words. We are losing out celebrities to possible drug overdoses and accidental medication overdoses. When will this stop we have lost far too many stars than we should have.

Tmz tells us that The 4-year-old daughter of Jesse Browning — one of the stars of The History Channel’s “Ax Men” — died tragically yesterday in Oregon after being mauled by one of the family’s pet Rottweilers.

Jesse — whose father owns the “Browning Logging” company featured on the show — called 911 around 1 PM after the dog attacked his daughter Ashlynn at the family home, this according to Clatsop County Sheriff Tom Bergin.

We’re told Ashlynn was airlifted to the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland shortly after the attack … but was pronounced dead on arrival.

We’re told cops are investigating the incident.

Sheriff Bergin tells TMZ the dog involved in the attack — along with another Rottweiler owned by the family — was taken to a nearby animal shelter for a mandatory hold.

The family will be given three options on the fate of their dogs — they can take them back into the home (with restrictions), adopt the dogs out to another family … or choose to have them euthanized.

And there’s this: Begin said four months ago to the day, one of the family’s other Rottweilers attacked another family member — that dog was put down after the attack. I would not be able to handle losing one of my kids to a family pet. The tragedy these people must be facing right at this moment. I would hate to even look at childrens clothing after losing my own child in such a horrid way.

People.com tells us that An actor who appeared on Boston Legal has died in a one-car accident in rural Wisconsin, according to reports.

Justin Mentell, 27, who played attorney Garrett Wells on the ABC show from 2005 to 2006, was found dead Monday near his crashed Jeep, the Associated Press reports.

His car had gone down a steep embankment near Blanchardville, Wis., and hit two trees. Police said Mentell, who was born in Texas and attended high school in Waukegan, Ill., was not wearing a seat belt. I cannot stress enough how important it is for everybody to wear a seat belt.  

Mentell’s recent film credits include a role in last summer’s G-Force with Nicholas Cage. Its so sad that these actors and actresses are dying so young .

The world was in shock to find out that Brittany Murphy Died yesterday from cardiac  arrest. Brittany was on 32 years old. You might remember Brittany as the character Tai from Clueless or from her role as Molly Gunn from the movie Uptown girls. I remember her when she played the daughter of some lady who became the maid to some rich folks back in the early 90’s I believe the show was called ” The Torkelsons” . All I know is that she was too young to have died so soon.

She was one of the few celebrities who seemed to always be in a good mood and seemed happy go lucky. I hope they find out what was the cause of her demise.

TMZ has a live stream outside the Encino home of Michael Jackson right now as expectations rise for Michael Jackson’s burial at Forest Lawn occurring this evening.  There’s a fleet of Rolls Royce Phantoms parked and waiting away from the house.  Reports also indicate that Macauley Caulkin will be attending the service. 

The funeral is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. PT time.  He’s waited awhile to rest in peace.  That must have been hard for his kids.
