Craig Ferguson tried mightily to tease an engagement announcement out of Oscar-winning actress Holly Hunter on CBS’s The Late Late Show airing Thursday, but she would only drop hints.

Pointing to her left hand, Ferguson asked, “Do you have some news?” Hunter regarded the ring and then looked up at Ferguson with a smile, replying, “Well, you know…”

Ferguson pretended to drop the subject, then continued, “It’s a bold statement right there.” Hunter quickly added, “I know, isn’t it, though? It’s very bold, from a very confident man.” But she wouldn’t say more.

Ferguson, still looking at the ring, said, “He used to have money at one point, clearly. Probably not so much any more!”

Hunter, 52, who is finishing the final season of her TNT drama Saving Grace, started dating actor Gordon MacDonald in 2001. Five years later, Hunter gave birth to their twin boys.

People.com tells us that  David Schwimmer43, has gotten engaged to Zoe Buckman24,   his rep confirmed to Entertainment Weekly Sunday. The actor, who shot to fame playing Dr. Ross Gellar on Friends, reportedly met Buckman, a photographer, while he was in London directing the 2007 flick Run Fatboy Run

This will be the first marriage for the both of them. I tried to think back  and see If I could remember wether he had been married before or not and I couldnt remember so I am glad that people.com confirmed that he hadnt been married before. I wonder if  all the cast of friends will attend their wedding. I always wonder if they stayed close to each other.

Richie said Monday night during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman that the couple are engaged to be married, a source told  PEOPLE. They’ve been together for more than three years and have two children together so if the did decide to get married I think it will be wonderful. 

After the show, Richie headed to the New York restaurant Abe & Arthurs – without her fiancé – for dinner. “She was glowing,” says a source. “She was telling her table how happy she was.”  To me if  people.com are reporting it then  I think that these two are heading to the chapel and they are going to  get married. I really do hope  that they get married because I think Nicole and Joel are one of the cutest Hollywood couple   out there right now.

Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, began dating in December 2006 and their daughter Harlow is 2 and their son Sparrow is 5 months.

People.com tells us that Actor Ian Ziering, 45 has gotten engaged. “Her name is Erin Kristine Ludwig,” Ziering,  told PEOPLE in an e-mail. “She’s a nurse, we’re planning a spring wedding and we’ve been together since Labor Day 09.”  Ian Ziering was best known for his role as Steve in the hit show 90210 back in the 90′s .  Ian was married once before back in1997  to model-actress Nikki Schieler Ziering, but  the marriage ended   in divorce  2002. I wonder if in this marriage we will get to see Ian and his soon to be wife shopping for any baby shower products or baby shower decorations.

Ian  also was a Dancing with the Stars  celebrity dancer (with Cheryl Burke) on its fourth season. I personally thought he looked cute dancing in the dancing with the stars show.

People.com tells us that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had something even shinier than a Grammy to show off on the red carpet of the Staples Center Sunday night: her engagement ring. Kristen and Dax have been dating for years and are currently costarring in the romantic movie ” When in Rome”.Bell’s rep, Marcel Pariseau, confirmed to PEOPLE: “Yes they are engaged. Over the holidays.”

Kristen is best known for her role in Heroes( great show I love it ) and Dax is best known for being on the t.v show Punk’d and My name is Earl. I wish I were lucky enough to be invited to their wedding but if not I would settle for any baby shower invitations they sent my way *wink**wink*
