People.com tells us that  Dawson’s going to be a daddy!

James Van Der Beek and girlfriend Kimberly Brook are expecting their first child this fall, the actor’s rep has confirmed.

“Yes, it’s true – the woman I love and I are expecting our first child,” Van Der Beek, 33, Tweeted. “Currently experiencing joy on levels I never knew existed.”

Former Dawson’s Creek star Van Der Beek — who’s currently appearing on NBC’s Mercy — and Brook, a business consultant, met last July after the actor split from ex-wife Heather Ann McComb in April.

It looks like James and Kimberly are going to have a blast picking out baby shower themes. I love celebrity baby showers they are always full of great food and wonderful gifts.

The Wonder years Danica Mckellar is expecting her first child people.com tells us . “I’m nearing the end of my first trimester and I’m so excited – I’ve been bursting to tell people,” says McKellar, 35, who played Winnie on The Wonder Years, told  PEOPLE exclusively.

However, she originally put off confirming her suspicions. “I was in the middle of a really intense deadline for my book,” explains McKellar, whose third tome, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, comes out in August.

“I wanted to put off the [pregnancy] test because I didn’t want any distractions. That only lasted a day – I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I caved! You can’t try to put that off.”

Initially, even McKellar herself couldn’t believe the news. “When you do take the home pregnancy test, it doesn’t quite seem real,” notes the mathematician and mom-to-be. “But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible.”

“Me and Mike looked at each other and we could not stop the tears,” she says. “We are so happy.”  I am so happy for her. I think she will make a great mom. I am telling you now that springtime is here alot of women will be having babies. Its jsut a theory of mine but alot of women concieve during the springtime and so do animals so it must be something that mother nature does.

People.com lets us know that Mario Lopez is going to be a daddy for the first time. Lopez, 36, and his girlfriend, actress Courtney Mazza, 28, met in 2008 when Lopez starred in A Chorus Line on Broadway.  Their baby is due in the fall and Mario lopez tell people .com that he is ready for diaper duty.
“Of course,” Lopez says. “I grew up in a large family. I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby's gender] so it will be a surprise.”

“I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” Lopez told  PEOPLE. I am really happy for the both of them. I told you guys that when spring comes so do the babies.

I have always said that with spring coming so do the babies and I might be right because so many celebrities are announcing that they are expecting. The newest couple to announce that they are expecting are  Joe Don Rooney and wife Tiffany Fallon . Joe  told people.com exclusively that they are expecting baby number two.

“We’re a little more prepared but the same excitement is there,” the Rascal Flatts guitarist says of baby No. 2. The couple are already parents to 21-month-old son Jagger Donovan. “There’s such fulfillment in being a father and it’s going to be two-fold now, which is so cool.”
Fallon, 35, who is due in September, told Rooney, 34, that she was pregnant when they were staying in the same Los Angeles hotel where he learned they were expecting Jagger.

“It was late January and we were out by the pool chilling and she said, ‘I have something to show you,’ and she opened her purse and pulled out the stick with the positive sign,” he says. “I was like ‘Wow! We’re going to have to stop coming to this hotel. We’ll have 16 of these things before long!’ But life just couldn’t get better.”

The couple are preparing Jagger for the idea of a new sibling, “but he doesn’t quite understand yet,” Rooney says. “I pray with him every night and we pray for his brother- or sister-to-be.”

Mom and dad are eager to prepare as well, and plan to find out the sex of the baby. “Tiff’s all about decorating rooms, so she’s got to know. She’s got to prepare the nest,” says Rooney, who is betting on a girl while Fallon suspects it’s a boy. Whatever the baby may be I know its an exciting time  for any parent. I really hope they have a little girl since they are already have a boy but that is just my opinion.

People.com tells us that 24 star Annie Wersching and her actor/comedian husband Stephen Full are expecting their first child, they told  PEOPLE exclusively. The couple is “ecstatic,” says Wersching, who plays Renee Walker opposite Kiefer Sutherland on the show.

“Feeling great” during her pregnancy, Wersching, 32, notes that she’s “craving mint chocolate chip ice cream!”

The couple had gotten  married at their Los Angeles home in September 2009.  I am sure that Annie will have a blast going to her baby shower and picking her baby shower favors. It’s always an exciting time for first time parents. I think its exciting to buy the baby clothes and have the baby shower and just have a baby.
