People.com tells us that After more than eight years together, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have tied the knot, their reps confirmed to PEOPLE.

Ford surprised Flockhart with a Valentine’s Day wedding proposal in 2009. They were married Tuesday in New Mexico, where the actor is filming Cowboys and Aliens.

The wedding, which took place at the Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe, was performed by Governor Bill Richardson under the legal supervision of New Mexico’s Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels, who officially declared the couple legally wed.

Gov. Richardson and his wife, Barbara, who are friends of the couple, were witnesses for the bride and groom. The couple’s son Liam, 9, was also in attendance, as was the governor’s official counsel. I guess since they didnt send any wedding invitations we can forget them ever sending out any baby shower invitations if they were ever to have or adopt another baby.

Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, began dating after meeting at the 2002 Golden Globes. They both have been raising Liam, whom Flockhart adopted in 2001.

This is the third marriage for Ford, who also has four older children, and the first for Flockhart.

people.com tells us that Carmelo Anthony is letting LaLa Vazquez handle most details of their wedding planning – except for a few key elements.

“I just care about the food and the music, that’s it,” the NBA star told PEOPLE Saturday while celebrating his 26th birthday with his fiancée at Philippe in West Hollywood.

While he has yet to choose specific songs, the Denver Nuggets forward wants “some great music for dancing,” and is also requesting red velvet cake – part of a larger color scheme he has in mind.

“We don’t really have a theme yet,” says former MTV veejay Vazquez, “but Melo is just certain that he wants red.”

Helping with the rest is wedding planner Mindy Weiss, who “does everything and makes it so easy,” says Vazquez, 30. “[It's] like no pressure whatsoever.” The actress has picked out a Vera Wang gown and is working out with celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson “every single day” for the nuptials, set for July 10 in New York City. I wonder if Lala has looked at mens rings to give to Carmelo?

Asked what will make their wedding special, Vazquez says it’s simply about celebrating with loved ones. “What it means to us [is] having that one day to just be together and have a good time,” she says. “It’s not often you can get his family and my family and all of our close friends together in one room, so I’m excited about that.”

She adds: “And I just think we’re fun people, so the vibe is going to be fun.”

People.com tells us that For her wedding to “bridezilla” fiancé Russell Brand, Katy Perry already has worked out a few little – but important – details.

“I think [the wedding] will be small,” the singer, whose new single “California Gurls” just hit the Web, told PEOPLE at Friday’s 7th Annual Bag Lunch, benefiting PS Arts at the Buckingham Estate in Brentwood, Calif. “I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each other’s lives.”

But friends of the couple shouldn’t worry about being left out of the festivities. The couple are also planning “a big, fat reception for the people who can’t make it,” Perry says.

As for the other important details – the location, the dress – Perry has some ideas for the big day. For example, the singer wants her dress designer to have special meaning.

“We have been kind of talking to [John] Galliano because that was the first [fashion] show in Paris that we kind of came out as a couple,” she says. “So if we did Galliano, it would make it full circle.” I simply cannot wait to see what bridesmaid gifts she picks out.

For the location, the Santa Barbara, Calif., native always thought she would be “married and buried” in her hometown, but now she says she doesn’t want loved ones in attendance to be in familiar surroundings when she ties the knot.

“We don’t necessarily want it to be a drunk fest of people just, you know, one night and then forgetting about it,” she says. “We want it to be about the love. So sometimes to be about the love, we have to take them out of their comfort zone.”

 

People.com tells us that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are taking yet another step to halt rumors that there is trouble in their marriage: They plan to renew their vows over the weekend. If by any chance they need to pick up some wedding rings orange county has some really nice ones!

The couple have invited close friends and family to an intimate gathering in the Los Angeles-area on Saturday. The date marks four years since they tied the knot on a private island in Fiji in a ceremony attended only by the barefoot bride and groom.

The pair, who have been seen on their show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood having blow-out fights, have downplayed any talk of a split. Appearing on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month Spelling said, “There is no divorce in our future, at all.”

McDermott and Spelling met in the summer of 2005 while in Canada filming the TV movie Mind Over Murder. They are parents to Liam, 3, and Stella, who turns 2 this summer.

Spelling will return to the bookshelves in June with her third book, tentatively titled uncharted terriTORI.

People.com tells us that Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen has married his longtime girlfriend, Australian actress Isla Fisher, according to Women’s Day.

The ceremony reportedly took place in Paris, where the two spent a week at the Hotel Ritz and were photographed walking around the nearby Place Vendome wearing matching berets.

“We did it – we’re married!” Fisher told friends in an e-mail, reports Women’s Day. “it was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”

The couple, who have been together for about eight years, have a daughter, Olive, born in 2007.

Fisher is currently filming the black comedy Burke & Hare for Animal House director Jon Landis in London. In May, Baron Cohen is set to go before the cameras in Paris for Martin Scorsese’s Invention of Hugo Cabret, adapted from Brian Selznick’s historical novel.

Born in England and educated at Cambridge, Baron Cohen, 38, is notoriously reticent with the press, rarely giving interviews out of character. But he may have given Fisher a sly compliment at the Sydney premiere of Borat in 2006, when he told reporters, “I would very much like to find an Australian wife. My preference is for woman who has more hair on head than back.”

Fisher, 34, was born in Oman but raised in Australia. She got her acting career rolling in the mid-’90s on the Aussie soap opera Home and Away, but she’s also written two best-selling teen-romance novels. She is best known for her film work in Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic.

She told a British newspaper in 2005: “Sacha makes me laugh more than anyone, which is why I’m marrying him.” She added: “I find weddings really boring. They give speeches, your aunt kisses you on the cheek, and you’re at a boring table. But it’s different when it’s your own.”

Baron Cohen first rose to fame in the late 1990s as the wannabe rapper Ali G on British television. His character gained new fans in 2003 when Da Ali G Show hit U.S. shores, airing on HBO.

The show also featured Baron Cohen as Borat, the Kazakh journalist; and Bruno, the gay Austrian fashionista. Both of those characters were the basis for feature films.  Congratulations to both Sacha and Isla I have always thought that they made a cute couple.
