People.com tells us that Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are embracing the joie de vivre that Paris has to offer.

In town to promote The Bounty Hunter, the costars enjoyed a private river cruise on the Seine Saturday evening. Though the single stars have denied romance rumors, a source told PEOPLE they looked as friendly and flirty as ever on their boat ride. “They were very close,” the source says. “They really warmed up the room.”

While a soft rain fell on the city, the stars and about 20 guests settled into wood-paneled grand salon on the top deck of the luxury charter yacht, ACTE III. Seated around a single long table, they dined on green salad and grilled chicken (for her) and lobster (for him). For dessert, they sipped champagne and enjoyed fresh berries.

Aniston arrived in Paris on Friday from Los Angeles, and dined that night at Ristorante La Stresa, a small exclusive eatery, where she bumped into Chinese actress Michelle Yeoh and French producer and director Luc Besson.

Butler arrived Saturday before the cruise, which took the stars past some of the City of Light’s most famous landmarks, including the Place de la Concorde, the Seine bridges and the Statue of Liberty on the Ile des Cygnes, where the boat turned and headed toward the Eiffel Tower in time for its hourly lights display.

Aniston and Butler stayed close throughout the night, the source said, “hugging and touching each other” on the cruise, which docked later at the Quai d’Orsay.

With Sunday night scheduled for a Champs-Elysées red carpet premiere of their romantic comedy, the costars will then spend several days traveling across Europe.

Next stops: Berlin and Madrid. I have a feeling that these two are going to end up dating if they havent already.

A photograph of Gerard Butler’s hand on Jennifer Aniston’s backside has been published at TMZ.  I had no idea they were together.   So she’s finally over John Mayer?  Seriously, I do hope she finds happiness with somebody if that is what she wants.

If you’ve seen any of the train wreck that is Anne Heche lately, she recently appeared on David Letterman and vented about her ex-husband.  Anne Heche lost custody to him and pays him $3,700/month in child support (he filed for divorce).  She was dissing the father of her child because he is coaching a soccer team (for seven-year-olds she said).  Since their child is seven, wouldn’t that be a GOOD thing that he’s involved in their child’s life?  I wonder what her child will think of her ranting on national television.

Not just a matchmaker, we think Jen needs to stay far far away from young dudes and young dudes who are celebrities.  Apparently Patti Stanger, star of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker agrees with us. Stranger said,

“I wouldn’t match her up with [anyone in] Hollywood,” she says. “I would give her one of my clients who is a businessman on the Forbes list – one of the big people… Someone who’s high up on the food chain. Aniston needs an “older guy who’s in his 50′s” who is “refined.”

Oh well, Jen – you aren’t getting an younger you know!

So what has happened?  Jen was once considered America’s sweetheart but now she is making enemies all over Hollywood.  Jennifer Aniston caused a rather big uproar among other celebrities when her interview in Vogue hit the stands.

It was also revealed in that interview that Jen has made it very clear to those in her circle that ‘Brangelina’ is not to be mentioned. No matter what.

Celebitchy got a hold of a copy of an interview that Jolie recently did with a UK-based newspaper Grazia:

“Grazia says they have been told not to ask about Jennifer Aniston
[Angelina Jolie] has recently spoken of wanting to retire from acting altogether, a job she has referred to as ‘therapy’ in the past. ‘I’m balanced, I’m alright now,’ she smiles, when the subject of her ‘retirement’ comes up. ‘I needed acting to help me express things, but now I’m learning a lot from being a mum. I need film less.’ She certainly seems ‘alright’ during our interview. Perhaps that’s because she knows we have been specifically asked not to ask any Jen-based questions. Hmmm.”

Not only does poor Jen have an enemy in Angelina, she also made Sarah Jessica Parker see red.  Aniston revealed in the Vogue interview that she thought Sex and the City wasn’t empowering to women as the audience watched women in their 30s hop from bed to bed. Once Sarah Jessica Parker heard about what Aniston had to say about the show, she responded with this: From Pop Crunch,

“Apparently, Jennifer never enjoyed the show about four thirty-somethings hoe-hoppin’ their way around the five boroughs.

“I never liked Sex And The City, the kind of thing where women only feel empowered once they find the man. It’s just not up my alley. I don’t believe in it,” Jen told Vogue earlier this month.

“She’s very proud of Sex And The City,” a pal close to television’s “Carrie Bradshaw” tells the tab emphatically. “She thinks it’s very empowering.”

Sarah Jessica thinks “Jen’s dig was tacky.”

“She would never say anything negative about Jen’s show, Friends. There are so few women really making it in Hollywood. It’s not necessary to tear another gal down.”

Personally I loved both shows.  I also still love Jen A – but lately I seem to be the only one saying that!
